Carpets of our own production |
70 percent of our stock come from our own production. The wool comes from mountain sheep in the regions of Kirmanshah and Kurdistan and is known for its exceptional stability. The hand-spun yarn is multiple-twisted.
The carpets are dyed with non-fading vegetable dyes, which do not lose their colours even when directly exposed to sunlight. The traditional recipes of the dyes were handed down for many generations as the family secret of the self employed local dyers, who dye the hand-spun wool for our weavers in the respective regions.
For the washing as well only natural products are being used. Chemicals or artificial textiles do not enter the production process on any stage. Therefore the production is environmentally sound and our products are particularly health protecting.
If requested the carpets can be produced in sizes of your own choice.
