Our Philosophy |
Our founder and sole proprietor, Mr. Yaghoube S. Nowbari, came to Germany at the age of 26 years in order to study here. He had several precious carpets with him in his luggage to be able to finance his studies. He soon discovered that hand-made carpets were not only a way of making money but could also become a passion
After he had discovered his love for oriental carpets, he had his relatives send him more carpets on a regular basis. Soon his carpet-selling activities outweighed those of his studies and he decided to give up his studies. Two years later he had become one of the six or seven importers of oriental carpets who had made a name for themselves at that time
In the year 1960, i.e. almost six years after founding his business, he reached one Million DM annual turnover which was sensational under the circumstances at that time. During these first six years, the young businessman discovered that he had to adopt the following three principles for lasting success:- Hard work and perseverance
- Punctuality and reliability
- Constant high quality of wares
Even today these principles belong to the secret of success of our company. The satisfaction of our customers with our service holds first place in our priorities and the quality of our wares is still our particular strength. |
