Gabbeh Carpets |
Traditional carpets made in the province of Fars in the South of Iran. These are not workshop carpets but carpets which are made individually by Nomads and woven on transportable looms. A carpet which is virtually indestructible for which approx. 6 kg of hand-spun virgin wool per square metre is used. Originally for use in children’s rooms, this carpet has become “popular” in the meantime and is also favoured for use in living rooms and studies.
We dispose of a constant stock of nearly 5.000 m² of such carpets and can supply nearly any desired size from 0.24 to 12 m² in the following primary colours: beige, yellow, red, blue, green and charcoal grey. |
