The so-called Mahi-Pattern, translated fish pattern, is, aside from the town of Tabriz itself, also made in the village of Khoy close-by. It is popular due to its tranquil patterns and to the manifold and splendid richness of its colours. The two knotting rows in 40 and 50 Raj are well known but knotting rows with 60 or 70 Raj can also be supplied.
